Aber and Ynyslas
A peregrine was flying low along the beach at Ynyslas this morning. The Short-eared owl demonstrated how it got its name when it was mobbed by a pair of Herring gulls on the golf course this evening. In Aber at lunchtime I got a 5 second view of a female black redstart on Old College roof and 4 purple sands were on the wooden jetty. At Tan y Bwlch a pair of Goosander were on the Ystwyth and a knot was on the beach with the oystercatchers.
