Each spring, as soon as our Snowy Mespilus (Amelanchier) starts to bud - in come the Bullfinches to strip the flower buds. Haven't seen any for several months but now they have appeared in force. Other garden birds at the moment include some of the finches - Chaffinch, Goldfinch and Siskin
