Despite earlier concern, a pair of
Curlew up hill from our house have returned and are vigorously seeing off Kites
and Crows, 2 Lapwing also close by.
Also a Whinchat (first sighting here
for 3 years) a Wheatear, 2 Swifts and a Kestrel.
This afternoon on old railway line
at Cors Caron, large number of Willow Warblers, some Chiffchaff, a Whitethroat,
a Kestrel and a male Sparrowhawk with unidentified prey in
talons.
