Aber and Ynyslas

Plenty of wheatears still around this morning at Tan y Bwlch and from midday swallows were passing through in good numbers with some swifts. This evening hundreds of dunlin, ringed plover and sanderling at Ynyslas Point at high tide. Dunlin were looking somewhat harrassed as low flying swallows were feeding at the water's edge and settling on the stones beside them. As the light was fading at least 13 whimbrel and 19 barwits (thanks to Mike for counting) landed on the estuary.
