I enjoyed superb views this afternoon
(Tuesday) from the road about a mile to the north of Llyn Fanod of two cuckoos
singing on high posts/bare trees.

(The lone Great Crested Grebe which Matt reported may well be the one from Llyn Rhosrhydd here at Trisant whose mate failed join it a while back.
This morning at Cwmrheidol we watched a tail-less Grey Wagtail building a nest in a pipe by the outfall of the power station. JAD)
