During a four hour seawatch from the fish factory at New Quay this morning two Great Northern Divers flew south within a few minutes of each other.
Very good spot for seawatching. The downside is that sitting at my desk four hours later I can still smell the fish.
Travelling through Llanilar earlier this afternoon a very dark, almost black, Pheasant walked across the main road in front of me. See the blog entry on 1st April for Penri James' photo of a similar bird.
