Llanrhystud-in the sun

A great morning by the coast. Saw much of what Arfon saw yesterday but in lower numbers, inc. Wheatears, White Wagtails, Dunlins and a single Bar-tailed Godwit. There were still 15 Whimbrel near the car park but an additional 45 or so were towards Llanon, plus 3 Shelduck and a Grey PLover. At the limekilns I found six species of Warbler. Managed to get virtually within touching distance of a Lesser Whitethroat but still couldn't see it! On my arrival at 9.30 I met Arfon leaving so he may be able to expand on all this a little. He'd already had two Avocets and a Black Kite for breakfast. Doh! And he was out for the whole day! Doh! Watch this space.
