Tir Sisial, Llanrhystud
3 Swifts feeding down in the valley bottom by the river this afternoon.
I've only ever seen them high over the valley before. Also several Willow
Warblers singing this year - only ever one in passing before.
A few Crossbill sightings here recently. Dipper frequent on this stretch
of the Wyre and by the village ford. Flocks of 10-50 Siskin and Goldfinch
still feeding on Larch. More Goldcrests singing than usual I think, but
less Dunnocks.
