Walk along the west bank of the Leri last night produced 2 pairs of stonechats with families. Birdsong filled the air - sedge warblers, grasshopper warblers, skylarks. As darkness fell the barn owl could be seen quartering the far bank of the flooded Leri - it's the white dot in the middle! Ynyslas/ Tre'rddol road is still closed by the way at Ynyslas just east of the railway line due to flooding.
