I have also been walking in Cwm Brefi today, from my house by the river in the village up to Cwm Dulas. I saw and heard 36 species of bird, including Dipper, Yellowhammer, Stonechat, Wheatear, Pied Flycatcher, Redstart, Willow warbler and heard a Grasshopper Warbler. No Sandpipers though, I shall have to look out for them on future walks. It is amazing what you can find right on your doorstep.
