Fledglings - this week's 'firsts' (for us this year) all seen on or around the feeders, Great Spot, Goldfinch, Siskin, Great Tit, Blue Tit. My attention was drawn to an unfamiliar call, turned out to be a Goldfinch flying to and fro between the trees and feeders until its young plucked up courage to follow. Robins now feeding there third brood from the mealworms just inside the conservatory. Have seen three of one of the other broods sorting out pecking order below the feeders, they certainly don't seem to need to see red to get going!
