I live a stone's throw from RSPB Ynys-hir and less than 2 miles from the Dyfi Osprey Project. As I write this I am full of trepidation - the rain has hammered down all day. Since we moved here we have never seen so much water. The Furnace Waterfall is a terrifying sight, the BBC Springwatch village appears to be mostly under water, the Einion has burst it's banks along the lane from Furnace towards Ynys-hir - the households along there look to be in sever danger of flooding and the fields are almost all under water. I am frightened for the welfare of the Osprey chicks, on a nest completely exposed to the torrential rain and for all the other nestlings that are having to cope with these conditions. Let's say a little prayer everyone.
