Early this morning Shag numbers were building up on the outer rocks as the tide fell. I eventually ended up with a very good count of 83.
A Merlin flew south offshore and a Red-breasted Merganser flew in, settled on the sea for a few minutes before heading off northwards and four Redshank flew north.
