chris tells me he was watching a flock of more than 1000 chaffinches feeding on maize stubble at bryn bull farm between wallog and borth and at least 1 male brambling. He also reported about300 starlings on monday night and 2000 on thursday evening roosting on the pier, more to come is a certain bet. Anyone found a starling nest this summer! PS He just tells me the maize fields are just being ploughed, how considerate.
