Cross Inn Forest and Llanrhystud

No sign of the Great Grey Shrike which we are hoping will return for another winter but it was a beautiful sunny morning and the sight of four Crossbills  feeding quietly at close range, surrounded by Siskins, was some consolation.
A brief visit to Llanrhystud afterwards where it was much windier. Two Gannets went north followed by a mixed party of 10 Teal and Wigeon (five of each) which were heading the same way but dropped onto the sea in front of me.
