On 14th Oct I found this beak in 2 halves in the field next to our house which is overlooks the eastern edge of Cors Caron. I thought at first it belonged to a heron until I noticed the hooked tip and lack of nostrils. The feathering looks dark so I think it is a juv.....thing is who or what carried it over 12 miles from the coast? It pre-dates the storms that accompanied the very high tides of mid Oct. No other remains could be found.
