Well no you can't actually see the eagle but it was over that wood this afternoon giving good views. Those coming to view are advised to sit on the boardwalk and wait a bit. My walk around the pond was held up by meeting old friends and whilst chatting we saw a peregrine falcon having a go at some pigeons, a female sparrowhawk and buzzards hassling the eagle all of which I would have missed!
I felt sorry for the lady,out of earshot,who was keen to see the big one....missed it by facing the wrong way.
Merlin at Llanrhysted this morning (picked up first by Red of course) and at least 7 red-throated divers, one of which was close enough to give excellent views. Not much else however unless it all happened behind me!
