My dull, damp birding session around Ynyslas this morning ended at the Turn Car Park where I did at least see some birds - a couple of Chough flew past close by when I arrived and there were some Common Scoter off-shore, difficult to count because of the swell but probably about 20.
There was not much to see by the Leri Boatyard - 14 Redshank, 5 Lapwing and a dozen or so Curlew and nothing to report from my walk around the point.
