Over the last few days I've noticed quite a few birds foraging in the field next to the Leri Boatyard - maximum counts of c100 Lapwing, c100 Golden Plover, c40 Curlew and 12 Redshank. Today a male Stonechat showed very nicely and I saw my first Goldeneye of the winter, a male flew in and landed on the water close to the slipway.
