Blackcaps seem to be visiting our birdfeeder here in Aberystwyth with increasing frequency. Yesterday (Monday) there were often several Blackcaps feeding at the same time. I attach two photos, one of two males and a female, the other of three males. Are they perhaps building up reserves to be ready for the flight back to central Europe?
