Dyfi birds

No Wood Sand at Glandwr this morning but there was a really smart islandica Black-tailed Godwit. Arctic Tern and summer plumage Grey Plover in the mouth of the estuary and the L-t Duck still off Ynyslas turn. The white-winger in the earlier posts certainly looks like a first year Iceland Gull - a great find making this year's total a very impressive six so far. Ian, thanks for that little known fact about woodpecker calls - I'll make sure that I hang around long enough to see the little rascal next time. On the subject of bird mimics in the last couple of days I've heard Sedge Warblers doing Wood Sand, Yellow Wagtail, Redpoll and best of all Bearded Tit. Can anybody add to this list?
