I have heard that one of a pair of swans is lying in the water at the lake SN570500, seemingly dead tho' alive yesterday.
If anyone knows who owns that lake and/or is in a position to check the status of these swans it would be useful to report it. I have messaged Tony Cross who has ringed with darvics many of Cere's swans so if a ring is visible it would be very helpful to know the number.
My informant has contacted Cere CO Council who it was thought owned the lake but they say not. There is public access to the site.
