I have seen displaying Goldcrests before but I was truly amazed at the little dazzler I saw today. He was showing a crest that seemed incredibly big and brilliant.
The Grass Snake was so large that I was alerted to its presence by loud rustling as it moved away from me through the bracken.
I also enjoyed Willow Warblers, Chiffchaffs, Blackcaps, Wood Warblers, Tree Pipits, a Cuckoo, Speckled Wood Butterflies and brilliant sunshine.
