Foel Fawr

Just back from a wonderful walk on Foel Fawr.  Highlights were a Peregrine in the same bit of sky as 2 Buzzards and a Red Kite, courting Tree Pipits, Stonechats, Whitethroats and a very obliging Cuckoo that, despite being mobbed by 5 or 6 small birds stayed in one spot allowing me to watch it for nearly 20 minutes. And, I was warm without a jacket, just shirt-sleeves.
