Sanderlings at llanon

One could be forgiven for thinking that there were at least 3 species of wader here!  Only about 8 Sanderling in total but no two the same and one was just gorgeous.  Ringed Plover, common Sandpiper and a few Dunlin added interest plus the colours of the beach material though it was raining and this was at least 40m away.  I was instructing Bri to get closer by crawling along the clifftop commando- like but he declined to do so; perhaps all the dogmess had something to do with that decision.
