A count of the starlings coming in to roost at the pier, Aberystwyth yesterday was enjoyable, but rather cold. 36,500 came in to roost but there was very little murmuration, most came straight under the pier to roost. Also yesterday were 5 gadwall at RSPB Ynys-hir (4 males and a female).
