I found a dead Cormorant at Ynyslas on November 4th. Apart from being dead, it seemed in good condition - no signs of oil or tar, no obvious injuries and not emaciated. The bird was ringed, so I removed the ring and sent details to the BTO. Today I learned that the bird was ringed as a nestling at Ynys Gwylan Island, Gwynedd on 28th April 2000. So it had a pretty good innings.
