Return of the Bullfinches.

A good sign that spring is fast approaching is when the Bullfinches return to feast on the swelling buds of our Amelanchier.  The last few days has seen an influx of birds - also noted on some earlier postings. No doubt the cold weather has stimulated their appetite for the nutritious buds which are already beginning to burst.
