During an otherwise fairly bird-free walk along Plas Crug Avenue this morning I was quite surprised to find 22 Redwings feeding on the adjacent football pitch, along with two Mistle Thrushes.
In my experience it is usually hard weather that brings winter thrushes onto these playing fields.
