Lapwing and plovers at Cors Caron

The big lapwing flock, well, big for Cere! is still around with some golden plover on Ystrad Caron fields south of the bog.  I guestimated about 250 lapwing and counted 49 Golden Plover with some more hidden no doubt.  Its difficult to get an over-view except from a small no through road just east of TTS' /NRW entrance.  There was a male and female harrier present last week on the bog proper but they will be off soon unfortunately.  Goosanders are paired up and seen regularly on the river or flying along its course, worth trying to see the immaculate male close up on Maes Llyn pond where a few Tufties are gathering.
