Clettwr geese
The 24 Whitefronts and the Bean goose were on the fields by the Clettwr again this afternoon - on the left-hand side down towards the railway bridge again. Needed the scope to see them well as they were quite a way back on the edge of a field, but it's really refreshing to see them at all; they're usually so elusive these days! By contrast, the Water Pipit was very obliging, feeding along the channel edge (again at the railway bridge end) with 7 Meadow Pipits and a Pied Wagtail for company. A Little Egret, 3 Redshank and 4 Teal completed the picture.
