How was it for you?

A strange, mysterious gloom slowly descended, filling me with morose, apocalyptic fears. Though, to be honest, that's not unusual when you go shopping in Lampeter on a Friday morning. On children's TV this morning they talked of birds stopping singing and returning to roosts. Perhaps you had to be in the full eclipse zone to witness such phenomena? At 9.28am I was in the co-op car park and things seemed much as ever though the light was actually very beautiful. I watched a Grey Wagtail feeding on the Dulas for a couple of minutes.
