ICELAND GULL at ABERYSTWYTH

Late afternoon Chris found an Iceland Gull with some Herring Gulls well offshore at Aberystwyth. They all took to the air and flew south.
I joined Chis to search Tanybwlch and the harbour but to no avail. Later I parked by the pier and the gull was back, but rather distant. Chris returned and Brendan and friends also arrived. The bird then flew towards the pier and continued over the town.
Far too white to be a first winter bird and unlikely to be a full adult.
