Sue and Terry were kind enough to invite me back for another attempt at the Hawfinch so I duly turned up at Bryngwyn this morning and, sure enough, we didn't have very long to wait before the bird turned up.
We enjoyed great views through the kitchen window during the bird's several visits, and were able to enjoy it on the pedestal feeder, on the ground and in the trees.
Once again, thank you both for your hospitality and for the chance to watch such a rare bird in Ceredigion. Closest views I've ever had.
