It all sounds very exciting/frustrating up north. On my way up to the forestry blocks above LB a couple of pairs of Whinchats at Waun Maenllwyd. In the plantations; 2 male Cuckoos and a group of 7 Crossbills which appeared to inc a number of juveniles. Lots of Redpoll about still.
