Cors Ian

This afternoon I remembered a small reserve in the heart of Ceredigion that I realised I hadn't visited since 2007, Cors Ian. Back then I flushed out a roosting Tawny Owl and had great views of a Cuckoo moving from tree to tree singing its heart out.
Eight years later and the same has happened.  It was like stepping back in time. This time I also had great views of a singing male Redstart and a male Kestrel hunting. What a visit.

Andy's text has reminded me that I have been meaning to visit Cors Ian for some time, as it is close to where I live. No excuse not to go now.
