I've head 4 cuckoos calling over the past week. Two on Cors Caron, calling
from opposite directions, one between Coed Y Bont and Strata Florida Abbey near
Pontrhydfendigaid, and another one near Llanio. Thinking about it, when we lived
in Llanio in my pre-birding days we always had a cuckoo calling in the summer,
so possibly this is also a long-time resident or long-time favourite cuckoo
spot.
