Lower Rheidol new lodgers

Having seen lots of aerial activity recently involving house and sand martins , swallows flying very close to the house it should not have been such a surprise to find that a pair of house martins had begun in earnest to build their nest under the eve at the base of the chimney  built of brick.
I am so excited as it will be the first time this has been attempted! Fingers crossed it will be a success as we also have other lodgers carrying out a building project!
