4 Purple Sandpipers were at Aberystwyth this afternoon.
(Back from a hot and sunny Lesvos with its mega brilliant birding and masses of wild flowers everywhere. Guess who was on our plane going out and staying round the corner from us: Arfon Williams and Jane and last Saturday the plane taking us back to Manchester had just brought over Mervyn Lloyd!)
