The Marsh/Willow Tit question

Re the Marsh/Willow tit at Cors Caron - recent postings, I walked along the railway track in the drizzle for half an hour or so on the afternoon of Thursday 7th - I had a couple of Marsh Tits but no Willow although I was expecting to see the latter rather than the former, as Ian Morris mentioned.

As both species can be found along the old railway track at Cors Caron, it seems that the birds that Huw saw will have to remain either/or.
Going off recent records, I would say that Willow is slightly the more likely of the two during the breeeding season.

As I write this, I am being distracted by a Spotted Flycatcher flitting about in a nearby tree. Must try to get a photo.
