I have had an email from Emma O'Regan who was driving between Blaenannerch and Llechryd last Thursday evening with her daughter when they came across a male Yellowhammer and were much taken with it.
She wonders if this is unusual and, as Yellowhammer is not a bird which features much on the blog, it would be interesting to know of any other recent sightings. Nothing too specific, please, as it is the breeding season, just the general area.
