There were some very large feeding rafts of Manx Shearwaters in Borth Bay this morning shortly after high tide. Almost all were north of the golf club house, but as they were well scattered and mostly quite distant I didn't attempt to estimate numbers. Several thousands at least and the largest raft was accompanied by about 60 Gannets.
As I was passing Brynowen caravan park a Kestrel was hovering above the rough grassland across the road.
