Some of you have previously come along to the annual beach clean at Llanrhystud - part of the Marine Conservation Society’sGreat British Beach clean weekend - so I wanted to let you know about the arrangements for this year’s event.
(For those who have not come along previously, you have been specially selected for an invitation this time as I thought it might be something you would be up for!)
This year’s beach clean will be on Sunday 20th Sept, meeting at the beach car park in Llanrhystud at 11 am. Refreshments will be provided afterwards.
If you have a spare couple of hours to come along and lend a hand, we would be delighted to see you. Friends and family members all welcome. As well as collecting litter we also record our findings, so need people who are happy to handle clipboards as well as bin-bags. This year there will be a small prize for the most interesting/exotic/unusual find.
Please bring gloves with you.
Hope to see some of you then,
