We arrived just after Ian and obviously missed the passage but we did see a singing skylark and not only that, he vigorously defended his patch of sky against another! Fooled by the warm weather or practising for next year?
There were a few pipits and a flock of 40 or so linnets plus one Red Throated Diver fishing up and down the shoreline but at 200m out of reach for a decent pic. A merganser flew by and over a lone Med Gull though more gull action was up the coast a bit.
