A huge number of Gannets were feeding within sight of the Turn Car Park this morning. I couldn't attempt an accurate count but there were perhaps as many as 800. Also hundreds and hundreds of gulls - mostly black headed and herring, but a few Great black backed and I picked out a few Meds.
The sea was choppy, making it difficult to spot birds on it, but I did manage to identify 3 Red throated divers. There were also several dozen Manxies and similar numbers of auks.
