Ystrad Caron

It seems to be the season of individual bramblings. The pictured bird has been with us in Tregaron since Tuesday and has teamed up with the greenfinches and chaffinches. Last autumn/winter we did not have any bramblings. Also, canada geese seem to have family issues this year - following on from the individual adopted by the group of swans in Aberystwyth, Ystrad Caron today features another individual in the company of 58 greylag geese. Also a stonechat, 24 lesser black backed gulls and a male and a ringtail hen harrier.
