The place I look from at Pont Gogoyan is by that little clump of conifers on the west bank of the Teifi just beyond where the Brefi meets the Teifi. I guess we're referring to the same place. At Pont Llanio; the Marsh Tits and previously Willow Tits have been in the wet scrubby woodland around the old ruins and railway line. The otter was right under the bridge and the Peregrine was hunting Starlings over a farm up on the main road. I've never followed the path past Ystrad Dewi. If you do, let me know what it is like. When I survey this tetrad I tend to park near Llanddewi, walk over Pont Llanio, along the main road(which isn't very nice) then back past the site of the Roman Fort and over a little footbridge there.
