Castle Point, Aberystwyth

Can't compete with the Dyfi estuary, but there was a nice little collection of waders at Castle Point this morning.  The rising tide gradually pushed into view a Common Sandpiper, two Dunlin, seven Turnstones, four Sanderling and two Ringed Plover, Also eight Oystercatchers to complete the wader tally.
Very little offshore, just the odd Gannet and Manx Shearwater and a Fulmar, plus a single Bottle-nosed Dolphin.  A Peregrine was perched on Constitution Hill.
