Curlew and Castle Point

The atmospheric bubbling song of a Curlew was the first thing to greet me this morning when I opened the door just in time to see it fly over. What a start to the day, and an addition to my house list.
At the point, small numbers of the usual species offshore, plus a Fulmar and two Sandwich Terns.  The flat calm sea enabled good views of a Harbour Porpoise and a Grey Seal, then five Turnstones dropped in. (Bit ambiguous: the Turnstones dropped in to Castle Point, not the sea, of course)
A silent flyover wagtail had me searching the castle grounds, but all I could find was a couple of Rock Pipits and some Starlings, including quite a few juveniles.
