Llanddewi Brefi

I counted 5 pairs of Spotted Flycatchers this morning. One in Pentre Rhew, another above there in a quarry and one at the edge of the village on the Ffarmers road. Two pairs in Cwm Brefi; near Aberdauddwr and at RHysgog Isaf. There were 26 Swifts swooping about energetically. I hung around in the village for quite a while but didn't see any enter any buildings and so presume this was the entire adult cohort for the village, airborne simultaneously. But maybe this interpretation is incorrect? Thirteen breeding pairs would seem a likely number of pairs to me but as I say I may have got that all wrong. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
